Cutting to the Chase:
Dirty weed pipes affect flavor and performance. We recommend you clean your pipe(s), frequently, to help preserve your pipe and to better enjoy your flower. Clean pipes ultimately allow for cleaner and smoother hits. Below we’re cutting to the chase and giving you tips on how to clean your glass or ceramic pipe.
What You’ll Need:
- One resealable sandwich bag
- Coarse salt (table salt is fine)
- Rubbing alcohol
- Dish soap
- One paper clip or pipe cleaners.
What You’ll Do:
- Fill your resealable sandwich bag with alcohol, just enough to submerge your entire weed pipe. You’ll want to ensure that you first remove any loose flower debris before placing it inside your sandwich bag.
- Add one teaspoon of table salt into your bag, and try to work the salt in and around your pipe by gently massaging in the salt.
- Let your pipe soak for 12 hours
- After letting your pipe soak, add one more teaspoon of salt.
- Shake your bag vigorously, but carefully. The salt will act as an exfoliating cleaning agent to help remove any latched-on grime.
- Once you’ve removed your pipe from the bag, wash your pipe in hot water and gently lather it and clean it with dish soap. Once rinsed, use a paper clip or a pipe cleaner to remove any remaining resin, but be careful not to scratch or scuff it.
- Finally, let the pipe air dry. If you are in a rush, use a paper towel to pat dry it.
You may repeat this process several times to your heart’s content. Again, clean pipes lend toward cleaner hits. Happy smoking!
