Metal: The most durable material for grinders, these grinders can stand the test of time. They’re usually more expensive than wood or plastic, but they’re also more efficient since they usually feature sharper grinding teeth. As far as cleaning is concerned, they’re also the easiest compared to wood and plastic.

Depending on the number of pieces, some grinders can have more components than others. Grinders usually come with a lid and a grinder bottom. Both the bottom and the lid have teeth that work in opposite directions when you twist the lid.

3-Piece Grinder: 3-piece grinders have fewer bells and whistles, but they’re still a great choice. They’re equipped with a lid, a grinding chamber, and a storage chamber.

2-Piece Grinder: The most basic form of a standard grinder. 2-piece grinders are often more affordable and consist of a lid and a grinding bottom.

Electric Grinder: This type of grinder is perfect for those who may find it hard or too painful to work a manual grinder. With a click of a button, you can have ground flower in a matter of seconds.

Flat Grinder: Akin to a cheese grater, this kind of grinder is perfect for the person on the go.
